Jeff Cook was born in the Flemingdon Park area of Toronto, and in his very early years he became obsessed with artwork and the pursuit of creative ideas. Every possible surface he could draw on would eventually bear his drawings and artwork, from school desks to people’s skin and everything in between. After moving to the suburbs of Ajax at the age of 11, his teenage years and rebellious spirit, along with a strong love of the bizarre, brought him to getting his first tattoo and he has been in love with this ancient art form ever since. After a short stint travelling around, Jeff realized the only way to stay true to his vision of life was to pursue his love of tattooing so in 2004 he took his first steps towards being the dedicated and professional artist he is today. Having worked in shops in the Durham Region, Markham and Toronto, Jeff has had the opportunity to further his skills as an artist on both skin and canvas and looks forward to bringing your tattoo ideas to reality. When Jeff isn’t tattooing he is constantly drawing or painting on commission for clients, designing album artwork and posters for local bands, as well as bringing thunder and doom on his bass guitar in his band Gunt. He is very excited to be a part of the Ink Culture team, working with artists whose pride in their work and ethics is matched by his own passion and dedication to perfection and professionalism.
